Airsoft RC tanks are nice.. when playing by oneself, shooting at mostly static inanimate targets. You can increase the challenge by driving through a proving-ground style obstacle and firing course for fastest time. And while lobbing BBs at another RC tank is more physically realistic than beam shots, monitoring hits is near impossible (especially at a distance), cannon mechanisms are more prone to breakdown aside from great disparity in performance between tanks (even among same brand and model).

I'm letting go most of my airsoft tanks and shifting to IR. The only question now is whether to go 1/16 Tamiya IR standard.. or 1/24 Vs...

the "Snow Leopard" tank is actually a scale model of the M26 Pershing, the same tank that was featured in this video:
